Our Advice and Answer: |
Dear HTML Noob,
As for HTML help, there is only on suggestion we can offer. Read a basic book, and get right into building pages.
As for a good HTML book, our team has had experienced with several and recommend these in this order:
HTML In 24 Hours. HTML For Dummies.
Neigher of these books will take long to go through, and both emphasize actually doing small web pages to get HTML practice.
Once you have completed one book or the other, then start looking for an HTML editor. We here LOVE DreamWeaver. It is a little expensive, but since we do commercial work, it pays for itself. If you meet the requirements for a student, maybe you can get an academic version of Macromedia's DreamWeaver.
We wish we could go into more deal about offering HTML help, but our simple answer hopefully answers your question.
Good luck with building those web-pages!
