Cheating Spouse, signs of a cheating husband?

Question And Answer Category: Marriage

Question:

Dear BlankHelp Team,

I suspect my husband has been cheating on me. I've found things that suggest it. Books of matches from bars "WE" never visited. Once a brochure of a singles resort in his pants pockets at the same location he was away on business. What are the signs?

Is my husband cheating on me? What are the signs of a cheating husband?

Frazzled Wife

Our Advice and Answer:

Dear Frazzled Wife,

Sit down. The signs of a cheating husband are not all the same. Regardless, here is truth about what you've told us, you are suspicious about your husband. That alone is dangerous. If it is founded on truth, and your husband is cheating, that is obvious how its dangerous to your marriage. Now if you are over-reacting(not an insult, but a possibility), there can be a level of trust not strong enough to handle 'business trips'. If you employer requires business trips, and you suspect his infidelity, you both need to site down and get help.

If you husband is cheating, and doesn't want to help restore the marriage, then there is nothing you can do to force him. We are sorry. Now if he isn't cheating, he still can become offended by your suspensions, so in either case you need to be tactful. If you have sincere worries about your marriage, you need to talk to your spouse about it. Don't be surprised that it doesn't work out well, just keep working at it. You will need to seek help, not like you are crazy, or the marriage is doomed, but professional help to get over the bumps in a marriage.

The only advice we can give, get a marriage counselor. You can go alone initially, but both of you are to benefit from the marriage, you both need to work out the problem areas. We wish all the best to you, since we understand you can be under a lot of stress.

Sincerely,

The BlankHelp Team
